Oh God. This. 

How I wish there was a shortcut. A faster way to develop this in me. 

It feels so. Excruciatingly. Slow. 

Sometimes I’m deluded into thinking I’m actually getting there, resting comfortably in your peace amongst the chaos... Then I’m confronted with the startling truth that all it takes is one of the six people I live with being loudly not ok then all that peace flies out the window. 

Perhaps it’s simply awareness of my shortcomings that shows progress. 

You know us, You get us. Your expectations of us are spot on. 

I’m choosing to trust that you’ll hold it all together and help me to keep working on this.
