Prayers for our children as they consider who they chose to live life with

I pray for a partner for you who perfectly compliments your tender heart, capable hands and faithful love of Jesus.

Who spurs you on, prays for you and reminds you of God’s promises when you doubt.

Who, when something is on your heart to help with or to give to, they jump on board agreeing with your spirit and supporting what God is doing in and through you.

One who acknowledges you as equal, who you can speak openly to and have your views respected.

Who shares your enthusiasm to meet with your friends and pursue your interests rather than creating conflicting feelings for leaving the house without them. 

I pray for many blessed children for you if you desire them, raised in a home of love, with parents who commit to, and practice healthy conflict resolution, pray together regularly, and who get things wrong and humbly ask for forgiveness.

May you see your future partner through the lens of God's love, and seek to love and encourage them as our creator guides and strengthens you.

I pray for your joy, your contentment, commitment in the hard times with someone you know God has given to be your helper. I pray for a marriage that others aspire to model theirs after.
